It’s been over 15 months since we last connected. The BridgeCAT ’cats’ have been busy and now we want to reach out and share some wonderful news! As of last last week,  the Bridge Center for Arts and Technology has a home!

Our new centre will be located at 50 Queen Street in Dartmouth, close to bus and ferry transit. And…not only do we have a home, but we will be running our first programs beginning in April. Exciting times for sure! 

As if this news isn’t enough, Bill Strickland is coming back to Halifax for a return engagement!

Join us on April 23rd  at the World Trade and Convention Center for Bill’s Keynote at the Emergent Learning Conference which has been organized by our partners Bridgeway Academy. Emergent Learning: Turning Tides in 21st Century Education is a new conference that challenges the way we think about education as it relates to the whole child.

Emergence captures the concept that we are educating children for an emergent future: a future which none of us can predict.  What is needed to live in a world that is constantly emerging? At this time, we’d also like to take the opportunity to invite you and your guests to attend Bill’s Keynote which will be followed by a VIP Fundraiser.

Tickets are $60 for the Keynote and $140 for both the Keynote and the VIP event and can be purchased directly from the conference website . Discounts are available for students and non profit organizations. Look for further updates in the coming weeks and months.
